When and where is SYNC. Festival happening?

SYNC. Festival will be held as a one-day physical event on 6th July 2025 (Sunday) at the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre, located at 30A Yishun Central 1, Singapore 768796. The nearest MRT station is Yishun MRT.

Who can join SYNC. Festival?

SYNC. Festival welcomes everyone! There will be a non-competitive Fam Walk, open to everyone aged 3 and above, and a Youth Quest opened only to youths aged 15 to 35.

What are the activities available at the SYNC. Festival?

SYNC. Festival features two signature experiences:

Fam Walk – A relaxing 3KM nature walk designed for participants aged 3 and above.
Youth Quest – A fun and meaningful challenge game open exclusively to youths aged 15 to 35.

Participants of both activities will also gain access to our SYNC. Village — a specially curated space offering over 10 unique rest-themed activities, inspired by the 7 Types of Rest (physical, mental, sensory, creative, emotional, social, and spiritual).

Is there any registration fee?

Yes. Nee Soon Residents, Tzu Chi staff and volunteers are entitled to discounted registration fees.

How can I register for SYNC. Festival?

Please visit registration.syncfestival.sg to register.

How do I know if my entry has been accepted?

Upon successful registration, you will receive an email confirmation. Please check your inbox for the confirmation email. Do check your junk or spam folder if you don’t see it in your inbox. If you have not received the confirmation email within a reasonable timeframe, please reach out to our team at hello@syncfestival.sg for assistance.

Are SYNC. Festival registration fees tax-deductible?

No, the registration fees are not tax-deductible.

Can I attend only SYNC. Village without participating in Fam Walk or Youth Quest?

No, SYNC. Village is only open to participants of Fam Walk and Youth Quest.

When and where can I collect the event entitlements (Festival Pack)?

The event entitlements collection will be available on 4th and 5th July 2025 at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. Please bring your proof of registration when collecting your Festival Pack. Registered participants will receive a reminder via email nearer to the collection dates.

I’m not available to collect the event entitlements. Is there a delivery option?

We understand that circumstances may prevent you from collecting the event entitlements in person. While we are unable to offer delivery services, you may authorise a family member or a friend to collect the Festival Pack on your behalf.

Please ensure that they bring the registration confirmation email when they are here for collection.

You can also collect your Festival Pin on Sunday morning at the collection booth from 6:30am.

In the event that I cannot participate in the Fam Walk or Youth Quest, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, all registration fees for SYNC. Festival are strictly non-refundable. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

However, we have good news! If you are unable to join the event, you can still collect your Festival Pack as a memento of your support.

Where does the money raised from SYNC. Festival go to?

Funds raised from SYNC. Festival will go towards supporting Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore)’s charitable programmes under the missions of Education and Environmental Sustainability.

Can I still make a separate donation to Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) that is tax-deductible?

Yes, you may visit Donation Portal of Tzu-Chi Foundation (Singapore) to donate.

When is the last day to register?

The last day of registration is 30 June 2025.

Can I update my personal particulars after registration?

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?

All registrations are non-transferable.

What happens in the event of wet weather?

Event Updates: We will provide timely updates through our official communication channels, including email and social media, regarding any changes or updates related to the event schedule due to wet weather conditions.
Rain or Shine: SYNC. Festival will proceed rain or shine unless there are severe weather conditions that pose a safety risk. In such cases, we may adjust the event format, route, or timing for your wellbeing.
Event Modifications: Our event management team will assess the situation and implement appropriate modifications to ensure a safe event environment. This may include changes to the course, start time delays, or other necessary adjustments.
Stay Prepared: We encourage you to come prepared for a wet weather by bringing rain gear and extra clothing. It’s also advisable to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly for your comfort.
Safety Measures: Throughout the event, we will have medical support teams and event marshals stationed along the route to ensure your safety. Please follow their instructions and take necessary precautions while participating.
